Bonamassa diverts disaster and awes the audience!
Joe Rocked South America this year with 5 amazing shows. Revisiting two countries - Argentina and Brazil - and adding two new stops to his tour - Peru and Chile -, Bonamassa brought his vibrant guitar mastery to his fans in the south. In the slideshow you can see some photos from the show at Luna Park in Argentina – courtesy of Gallo Bluguermann -, where an unexpected malfunction occurred. The concert had already started, the acoustic set had been amazing and the fans burst into thunderous applause and cheering when Joe and the band started playing “Story Of A Quarryman.” As Joe approached the microphone… nothing… no words… no vocal. After several attempts – never wanting to disappoint his fans - Joe motions for the crowd to be silent. A hush falls over the almost 5,000-strong fans in Luna Park. Tal starts a light beat of the drums - the band starts to follow - and then to everyone’s surprise, Joe walks away from the microphone towards the edge of the stage and starts singing “Story Of A Quarryman” a capella. Joe to the rescue! Happy Joe, happy band, happy crowd. Watch the video above to experience it with your own eyes and ears!
