Check out Joe's nomination for Event Of The Year!

The last few years of Joe Bonamassa's career has seen a good amount of Nominations from Reader's Polls and Music magazine awards. Classic Rock Magazine (UK Music Mag) has honored Joe this year by Nominating his 4-show London Stint from this past March for the EVENT OF THE YEAR category of the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards. In the same category, Joe is up against some tough competition with David Bowie, Mick Taylor and Black Sabbath.

In previous years, Joe's Solo albums have been nominated for ALBUM OF THE YEAR (Dust Bowl in 2011 and Driving Towards The Daylight in 2012). He had also been nominated for Band Of The Year back in 2012 running up against such heavyweights as Black Sabbath, Guns N' Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush and ZZ Top.

In 2011, BCC was nominated for Best Band Of The Year and Album Of The YearCategories and they were honored with the Breakthrough Award also in that year.

The four shows that Joe performed in March of 2013 were The Borderline, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Hammersmith Apollo, and the Royal Albert Hall. The sold-out concerts, which saw over 12K fans in attendance, chronicle Bonamassa’s atmospheric rise from the intimate club environment of The Borderline, to the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. Every individual evening was marked by a particular theme – his early trio years, the blues, rock and roll, and an all-encompassing set at the Albert Hall – and every setlist, arrangement and ensemble was designed to fit in with the evening’s prescribed theme providing the viewer with four different and unique performances. These Performances were recorded and will be released on DVD/BLU-RAY later this year for all of the fans to enjoy.
