Joe Bonamassa will turn 38 years young on May 8th and over the past 365 days the Blues Rock Titan has come a long way, accomplishing some incredible career milestones.

Bonamassa is always on the road: in the past year he made stops in Australia, Europe, Canada, and then back again to the US where he played his bucket-list performance at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC. But in between touring the world, Bonamassa has managed to release two Billboard Chart topping albums, as well as multiple collaborations with a wide array of musicians such as Mahalia Barnes, Johnny Winter, Randy Bachman and many more! Bonamassa’s bold, adventurous all-original album Different Shades of Blue experienced mainstream success, debuting at the #8 spot on Billboards top 200 Chart, making the record his highest ranking release so far. Different Shades of Blue in addition to his fiery live tribute performance Muddy Wolf at Red Rocks has helped to land Bonamassa the title of 2014 Billboard Blues Artist of the Year. He also currently holds the record for more #1 Billboard Blues albums than any other artist to date.

With a multitude of projects lined up for the next year, including a new album from his ultra-funky virtuosic fusion group Rock Candy Funk Party, a new live release highlighting his Radio City Music Hall performance, a live tribute tour paying homage to Three Kings of the Blues, and the second annual Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea cruise…. the bluesman is showing no signs of slowing down!

None of the above would have happened without the support of family, friends, band members, crew, and of course the steadfast loyalty of his wonderful fans. Thanks for joining us in wishing Joe a happy birthday!
