It’s crazy to believe that Joe is celebrating ten years since he originally played Royal Albert Hall. But there is another ten-year anniversary that has a Royal Albert Hall connection as well.

The ten-year anniversary of one of Joe’s photographers, Christie Goodwin, who not only is the official photographer for the Royal Albert Hall, but she has been shooting Joe and his bands for the past ten years capturing live performances all over the world.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in art photography, she dabbled in fashion, fine art and news photography but it was 2005 when Christie was commissioned to shoot a live music performance, she found her true calling. She became a full-time music and entertainment photographer and today she is in high demand as a tour and portrait photographer. Some of her assignments include Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and many other top recording artists.

Christie’s work appears on CD’s, DVD’s, tour merchandise and in international publications, books and exhibitions. You will recognize her photos in most of Joe’s live media and even as exclusive lithographs on Joe’s store. Christie is known and respected for always getting the shot, “being a fly on the wall” and for her no-nonsense approach when connecting with the artist.
