Look at this young lad! Today is the release of β€œ A New Day Now” the 20th anniversary edition of β€œA New Day Yesterday β€œ. It was produced by the late great @tomdowdmusic and masterfully remixed and complied by @kevthecave It’s been strange to think about it in terms of a reissue. It is not a reissue. It is a tribute to my mentor Tom for believing in me in the first place. I sang all the songs again and tried to do my best to make him proud. I hope he would be proud of the Artist I tried to become under his guidance that still guides me today.. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

It is truly a once in a generation public display of American guitars. I met a wonderful player named Jeff Crusan today that will be a big star someday. ( You heard it here first. ). A few words about the closing of Songbirds Guitar A few words about the closing of Songbirds Guitar Museum in Chattanooga Tn. @songbirdsrocks next week ( August 15th). I have known Dave @wellstrungguitars for 25 years and have gotten to know Johnny, Irv and the extremely fine staff that made up the heart of the museum. It simply is the greatest guitar collection that will ever be put on display to the public. It is world class all the way. I am extremely sad to see it go. It has done massive amounts for the guitar community as well as giving artist a stage to play in Chattanooga. I encourage anyone to go see it before August 15th. It is a lifetime of collecting and a lifetime of passion for America’s unsurpassed contribution to the electric and acoustic guitar. I will be there on Friday to be part of a once in a lifetime experience for a deserving up and coming guitarist. Congratulations on three and a half great years and your continued support for music, music education and the love of an old brown case. Sincerely, Joe Bonamassa

I ended up grabbing this 1976 Martin D-41 from my friends @nashville_usedandnew_music and the most preserved best playing Jimmy Reed Silvertone I have ever found. I look forward to rocking that guitar through the 2004 Mesa Boogie Mark 1 reissue I also purchased from a wonderful family owned guitar shop named @fannyshouseofmusic . Both stores are super friendly full of really cool stuff. Highly recommended when in the Nashville 615 area. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

I sold it back to the gentleman that I bought it from about 5 weeks ago ( I rarely sell stuff) under the promise that he love and cherish it for years to come ... Well, those loving years became mere hours/days and it was traded in to @wellstrungguitars on Long Island. ( I get it because as collectors well all have our weak moments and are constantly on the chase for the next one. ) So for two reasons it is now back PERMANENTLY in the Nerdville collection of Antiques, Wash Boards and Guitars .. One: it’s fantastic and in mint condition and Two: most importantly.... Spite .. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ˜
