Rest in peace Peter. Thank you for your friendship and support over the past 23 years. I met Peter Max at the Beacon theater in 2003. I was supporting Bad Company that particular evening. Peter and his wife Mary came backstage and gave me a lot of great words of encouragement. That was something I desperately needed at that particular time in my career. It was a honor to know him and see him work. He was a true artist, a legend, forward thinker, entrepreneur and most of all a hellava nice bloke to boot. He will be missed.
