"There is no better way to sum up the music of Albert, Freddie and BB than to use the phrase "The Three Kings." Sadly, this year we lost the sole remaining King and the only one of the Kings that I had the pleasure of not only meeting but also calling my friend. This tour presents an opportunity to pay tribute to these men whose music has meant so much to the blues, so much to the fans and lastly so much to me. This is the biggest and greatest band that I have ever been lucky enough to have assembled. 11 pieces in all... I am very, very excited for you all to hear it and I am really looking forward to the challenges and joy these songs are going to bring to me personally. Cheers!!"
