“Snakebite”, 1959 Gibson Les Paul 9-1948 was used in the making of Joe’s latest studio album, Blues of Desperation. Along with it, Joe used another one of his 1959 Gibson Les Paul’s, Serial Number 9-1228, nicknamed “Sandy”. All in all, Joe used 13 different guitars in the making of Blues of Desperation, a variety that includes a 1958 Flying V, a 1958 Gretsch, and even a Jerry Jones Sitar.
