Once again we find Joe Bonamassa at one of his favorite places, the couch at Norman’s Rare Guitars. He’s showcasing his incredible Prototype 2008 Korina Gibson Skylark. This Skylark is a one of a kind instrument that never went into production. Thus, Joe’s is the only on that exists.
Find out all about this ultra-cool guitar and how it’s been important to Joe through the years. In particular, he famously used the guitar on the song “Burning Hell”. It made an appearance on that tune for the Tour de Force performance recorded at The Borderline. Plus, watch Joe play some mean slide guitar (he’s modest about it though).
Like Joe, this guitar was always on the road and it’s a sweet piece of memorabilia, especially because its uniqueness created lots of confusion among guitar enthusiasts who wondered what it actually was.
