Move over Celine, Elton, Britney and J. Lo, there’s a new act coming to town! The bad boys from Boston are back in the saddle again and taking over Sin City to celebrate their 50Th Anniversary! Doing things their way, loud and over the top!

There aren’t a lot of details yet, but this is what we know, the residency will be in the spring 2019, which was revealed by guitarist Joe Perry recently during a live interview on SiriusXM “What we’re talking about is having an experience that you wouldn’t be able to see on a regular Aerosmith tour.” “The residency will have a more intimate setting and a unique musical experience.” Perry also mentioned that since they’ve been out of the wind for a while and it would be cool to bring some history back. Which means a supper club idea is probably out of the question! Since they are considered a hard rock and roll band, we’re secretly hoping that there will be loud guitar solos, Cirque type aerials and Steven Tyler is just being his crazy self.

In the meantime, while the logistics of this residency are being worked out, the band members are finishing up their solo projects to focus on the Vegas gig, the 50Th Anniversary celebrations and beyond. They’re also currently working the talk show circuit and slowly revealing what to expect from them in 2019.

Are they taking a permanent vacation? Get a grip! Not likely till past 2019. In the meantime, they’re grabbing the toys in the attic and dusting them off and heading out the door to Vegas and beyond! With this upcoming residency, we’re also thinking that a new album and possible tour dates aren’t far behind considering Aerosmith hasn’t released a new studio album collectively as a band since 2012’s “Music From Another Dimension!” Plus, Vegas is happening in the early spring which means an opportunity for the band to head out and tour. Stay tuned…
