Ending The Decade on a High Note

2019 was a stellar year for Joe and the band while they were on tour. This year of touring was special due to the fact that they did over a hundred shows that took them literally all over the world map and then some. This year had a few first-time moments, some anniversaries, a few special events for the fans and revisiting previous tour stops. Furthermore, the year although it was a long touring schedule, it gave Joe and the band a chance to re-connect with a lot of his fans across the globe.

Broward Center For Performing Arts – Sam Moore from “Sam & Dave” fame came out and joined Joe and the band onstage and performed “Crossfire”.

KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE AT SEA V - Tampa, Florida to Grand Cayman – what a way to start things off! This cruise featured many jam sessions that you wouldn’t normally see and included the likes of Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Walter Trout, Reese Wynans & Friends and many more amazing artists playing on the high seas.

Royal Albert Hall - Three Day Residency – One of Joe’s favorite places to revisit and reminisce about, he performed three sold out days at this iconic venue.

Ryman Auditorium – In July, Joe revisits and performs at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Bethel Woods Center For The Arts - Joe plays the iconic Bethel Woods Center For The Arts – Which is the historical site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival.

KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE AT SEA MEDITERRANEAN – Another amazing treat that Joe and the band were able to accomplish! The inaugural sailing of “Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea Mediterranean” which left from Barcelona, Spain and sailed to Monte Carlo, Monaco and Valletta, Malta. This special package gave fans some up close and personal moments with the likes of Joe, Peter Frampton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Robert Randolph & The Family Band. As well as Bernie Marsden, Joanne Shaw Taylor and many more excellent blues artists and performances. It went so well that we have “Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea Mediterranean II” scheduled for 2020!

Joe sells out the Beacon theatre for three days! This three-day sold-out residency was a special moment place for Joe and the fans. For those that attended, they got an over the top grand performance! This residency was from 11/14-11/16.

Other mentionable highlights include, Joe and the band do a two-day residency at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and then shortly after, perform on the KTBA Mediterranean Cruise. After the cruise, it’s off to Israel for one show at the Mannes Auditorium in Tel Aviv and then at the end of September, it’s Australia and New Zealand for more shows.

Finally, the band gets a quick break before heading to Vegas to perform at Caesar’s Palace. Joe had a chance to hang out with some of the fans before the show and then, another awesome surprise happened! Neal Schon from Journey performs with Joe onstage. Everyone survived Vegas and left with some great memories.

The Detroit show at the Fox Theatre was special for Joe because he celebrated with the fans, his 30-year Anniversary as an artist. Ten more shows to go (including the Beacon Theatre) and finally Joe & the band gets a much-needed break.

As you can see, Joe’s blues resonates all over the globe and we hope you the fans get your chance to see Joe performing live for you! Until then, keep up to date with Joe via his social media sites and tour dates.
