Joe Bonamassa & Journey’s Neal Schon Sit In At Each Other’s Las Vegas Shows

This past weekend, two of rock n’ roll heavyweights, Joe Bonamassa and Neal Schon (Journey) sat in on each other’s Las Vegas performances.

On Saturday, October 26th, Journey delivered the final performance of a sold-out, 9-show residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Toward the end of the band’s performance, lead guitarist Neal Schon welcomed blues powerhouse Joe Bonamassa to the stage. The two collaborated on the Journey classic “Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin”, exchanging leads for an extended version of the popular tune.

The following night, Sunday, October 27th, Joe Bonamassa once again took the stage at The Colosseum for his own headlining performance. During his show, Bonamassa returned the favor by welcoming Neal Schon to the stage for their second live collaboration in as many nights. The two dug deep into the B.B. King song, “Nobody Loves Me But My Mother”. The crowd went wild as Schon soared with heavy blues guitar riffs along with his friend Joe trading licks back and forth.

Joe Bonamassa is currently on the road for his extensive U.S. fall tour, with dates spanning the country including stops in Oklahoma City, Detroit, Washington D.C., and St. Augustine, just to name a few. Known for his aggressive touring, Bonamassa will then take a few months off before hitting the road again in February for his U.S. 2020 spring tour. The guitarist also released a new album, Live At The Sydney Opera House, this past Friday. For more information on his upcoming tours and album releases, head to Joe Bonamassa’s website.

Journey has plans to return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, for a 4-night run of shows to ring in the new year. The performances are scheduled to take place on December 27th, 28th, 30th and 31st. For more information on these shows, head to the Journey website.
