Ah, it’s our favorite time of the year here in Nerdville. Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Jack Frost passing out the eggnog. Guitars wailing under the mistletoe. Seriously, though, there’s nothing quite like blues to make the holiday season feel just right. There’s been a long, proud tradition of Christmas blues songs from B.B. King’s yarn about the naughty “Back Door Santa” to the woeful tune “Christmas Tears” by Freddie King. And Joe’s made a significant contribution to that catalog as well, with fan favorites like “Christmas Date Blues” and “Christmas Boogie.” Here’s the latest Yule-time offering from Joe, perhaps the bluesiest of them all: “Bring Back My Cadillac.”
