Styx is best known for its distinctive sound, which combines elements of progressive rock, hard rock, and pop, along with elaborate live performances. The band gained popularity in the late 1970s and 1980s with a string of successful albums and hit singles. Some of their most popular songs include “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” “Babe,” “The Best of Times,” “Too Much Time on My Hands,” “Mr. Roboto,” and “Renegade.”
Don Felder is an American musician, singer, and songwriter, best known for his work as the lead guitarist for the Eagles from 1974 until his departure in 2001. Felder’s association with the Eagles began when he was invited by fellow guitarist Bernie Leadon to join the band in 1974. Felder contributed significantly to the Eagles’ signature sound, playing guitar and slide guitar, as well as providing background vocals. He also co-wrote some of the band’s biggest hits, including “Hotel California,” “Victim of Love,” and “Those Shoes.” Despite the band’s massive success, the Eagles disbanded in 1980. Felder pursued a solo career during this time, releasing his debut solo album “Airborne” in 1983.
