Hot off new releases and chart-topping albums in funk (Rock Candy Funk Party), rock (Black Country Communion), and most recently, soul (Beth Hart duo), Joe Bonamassa is poised to dominate 2018 in more ways than one. Maintaining his much-deserved title of “busiest guy in the blues business,” Bonamassa has a full schedule of tours, studio recordings, and, of course, guitar safaris.
Joe kicks off his anticipated touring season with his highly-acclaimed Keeping the Blues Alive at sea cruise on February 26. He will be joined by some of the biggest names in blues like Los Lobos, North Mississippi Allstars, Marcus King, Ana Popovic, and many more. From there, he heads back to Europe in March, playing everywhere from England to Germany before embarking on a solid two-month excursion of the U.S.
With all of these extensive performances, you would think he wouldn’t have time for much else. Well, in between the grueling tour schedule, Joe will be hard at work in the recording studio, creating a brand new solo album set for release later this year! Also, he will be taking on an unaccustomed role in the studio as the head producer of a special album honoring his famed keyboardist, Reese Wynans.
Joe Bonamassa continues to push the bar and delivers top-notch and innovative blues shows and albums without signs of ever slowing down.
