“Everyone was really on their ‘A’ game.” This was blues guitar titan Joe Bonamassa’s reaction to when his band Black Country Communion got back together after a five year hiatus. A lot of musicians and bands cringe or dismiss the term ‘super group’ when that label is bestowed on them. BCC is a band made up of stellar musicians who are all masters of their instruments. Even after taking a break from playing together, they instantly gelled with each other and it was as though they never separated. With little time for rehearsal, the band effortlessly created a fantastic album with just one week in the studio!
