Ana Popovic - Photo of The Week
Here we have Ana Popovic taking over the stage at the Elevation 27 event in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Performing her "in your face" style of blues on stage in April of 2019. At this time, the super blues shredder is giving a lot of blues guitarists a run for their money.

John Lee Hooker, Clapton, and Stones
Known to music fans around the world as the “King of the Boogie”. Hooker endures as one of the true superstars of the blues genre. He regularly kept touring and recording up until his passing in 2001. When you see the likes of Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones as the backup, you know you’re watching one of the coolest dudes in the Blues! Plus, it’s nice to see them paying respect to a founding father of the blues.

Nothing beats a cool cloudy day in Los Angeles. (For us it’s a welcome treat and a respite from the months of scorching sun. ) I have decided that today is Steve Howe day in Nerdville so I broke out the 1964 Gibson ES-175 just like Steve played/and continues to play for his whole career. Please notice the barrage of subliminal messages hidden in these photos. It’s not like I am a shameless self promoter with a new record out this week. Come on.. I have more class and decorum than that. Or do I?as taken by my dad at Third Encore Studios in North Hollywood in early 1991. )
